BELANGA, has indeed carved from its reputation for consistent in quality food with myriad of home-style authentic Malay cuisine. Belanga founder, a Kelantanese born believes that the days Malay food sell in warungs and small eateries are over.

What I do Like:

Delicious ayam percik. This ayam percik came with nasi kerabu. My assumption the nasi kerabu will be in blue colour as colouring from the flower. However Belanga's nasi kerabu serves in yellow. Anyone have any idea about this? Though I am not fancy any east cost delicacies, but I am a fan of desserts. Hehehe.. I loves the Sagu Gula Melaka and Lompat Tikam. I requested this should be serves cold.

Theme of restaurant decorations as per Traditional Malay concept. Each of decoration items would play it significant roles. Belanga occupied moderate size from the shopping mall and the owner able to maximise the usage most of the area.

What I do not Like:

I would at least expect major credit card or MEPS facility at least from this restaurant.

My first visit to Medan Ikan Bakar Jeram was way back in 2005. Since then I have been coming for few times for the fresh seafood menu. Fresh seafood! Yes, that I said. If you are thinking how to get to Kapar from Kuala Lumpur? Easiest way is to take NKVE and exit at Setia Alam.
*You will pass by Setia Eco Park and arrive at Meru town.
*Look for signboard toward Kapar.
*At Kapar town, you will pass by the famous Nasi Lemak Kapar (NLK).
*Once there, you are on the right track (Jalan Kuala Selangor) and about 13km from Kapar Town you will stop at the very first traffic light. On you left will be a mosque.
*Take the left exit at traffic light.
*Go straight for 2km you will arrive at this restaurant.

There is another restaurant nearby which is Aroma Ikan Bakar. I gave a visit to Aroma Ikan Bakar in 2009, the service sucks and a bit expensive compared to this restaurant. Just Aroma Ikan Bakar a bit closer to the beach and offer a better view of sunset.

What I do Like:
Of course the fresh seafood! I love the steam fish though it might take up to 40 minutes during low peak time and might be longer on peak time. Deep fried calamari my most favourite!

What I do not Like:
Beverages was poorly prepared and it always do. Please avoid peak hours as it might takes forever for your food to be ready.
