Created in Dallas, Texas in 1975 as a neighbourhood style restaurant with uniquely Southwestern flair, Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant serves homemade quality food in casual atmosphere. The menu was simple and the decor capture the enthusiasm and energy of Chili's and its wait staffs, complete with tiles and tiles tabletop, colourful poster and unique hanging on the wall and from the ceiling.

What I like about:
Big portion with moderate price. It will be worth for every penny. That defined Chilis. This time I enjoyed the lamb shoulder as you could see the large portion for serving. It suppose to come with seasonal veggies but I opted for fries. Couple with mashed potatoes there goes my superb lunch. The decoration also will amaze you while dining in. Service also supported by attentive staffs. Do not forget to try the bottomless drink by Chilis as I love so much the mango juice.

What I do not like about:
Arrived at the restaurant about 1pm. Still plenty of empty tables and it kinda weird since usually it require to queue for table for about half an hour. The food only arrive after 25 minutes from ordered. With less number of customer, I would expect that the service will be much efficient. Wifey fire grilled chicken with portobello was overcooked and this need to improve. Simply no-no for the guava juice.

The Chicken Rice Shop - Alamanda Putrajaya (Nasi Ayam)

Chicken Rice has now made easy by The Chicken Rice Shop chain outlets that available in most shopping malls. I am TCRS loyal customer since two years ago. Though the price a bit fancy for chicken rice, occasionally dining at TCRS will not cause a hole to your pocket. So today, wifey and I went to Alamanda Putrajaya. We arrived there about 8pM and still plenty of seats available.

TCRS serves traditional prepared steamed, braised, honey barbeque or roasted chicken as its signature products. The appetizer, Pai Tee is among my favorite. I will always go for roasted chicken as the portion will be quarter bird per serving. My suggestion will be "Single Chicken Set" for 1 pax that will cost about Rm13.99.

Wifey went for Single Noodle Set (Rm12.99) with choice of Honey barbeque noodle. She never favor TCRS. Haha! Do add Tawfoo with oyster sauce if you are a fan of tawfoo. Kerabu Mango will also be a good entree.

The ambiance

The Single Chicken Set (Rm13.99) consists of:

Rice

Quarter Bird Roasted Chicken

2 pcs of Pai Tee

Soup

The sambal

Ipoh Bean Sprout

Mirinda Strawberry

Dessert

The Single Noodle Set (Rm12.99) consists of:

Noodle: Honey barbeque noodle (dry)

2 pcs of Pai Tee

Lime with sour plum (add Rm 1)

Dessert

The sambal
