Restoran Fend Ikan Bakar - Kelana Jaya


Calling all grilled food lovers out there, Restoran Ikan Bakar Fend is a place for you to try. This afternoon we went to this restaurant for lunch. Located at Dataran Glomac in Kelana Jaya, Giant Kelana Jaya will be a big landmark for you, as this is behind the Giant store.

Actually tried this restaurant about a year ago, and since that moment we paid a visit couples of times. Mostly of the serving will be fish (as the name represent), apart from that, there are also grilled calamari, grilled chicken and beef soup.

Fishes, chicken and calamari will be marinated with special sambal and spices and grilled to perfection. This will add unique taste and kept the originality by the restaurant owner. Usually the food will served in set consists the rice and the fish with ulam (salad) and come with two sauce which are asam sauce usually goes with the grilled fish and spicy cause will cost about Rm 6.50.

This is very straight forward restaurant and self service. You need to queue for your food and for drink, the server will come to your table and take your order.

Cleanliness: Moderate. Could improve.

P/S:

*Arrive early. Queue could be very long during peak hour.

*Closed on Monday.

*Cash only.

*Wonder why there are three drinks despite only two persons? Be prepared as the grilled marinate could be spicy. I always prepare more drinks. =p
