Fish & Co. is also quite established in Singapore & Indonesia.

My first experience about Fish & Co. fall few years back in Singapore. The idea about seafood in pan seems attractive to me. Over the years, it started to establish in outlet in 1 Utama. Since then, I have been a frequent customer to this Fish & Co. Recent upgrading to this branches have draws number of customer coming in to the restaurant. The words about the seafood in a pan has travelled.

What I Like:
I always see Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) as a strong contender for this Fish & Co. in Malaysia. Price wise, MFM always a bit on higher side. Since Fish & Co. has received a good feedback from customer, recent visit to MFM Subang Parade I saw a drastic drop on Platter for 2 price. In term on taste, my vote will go to Fish & Co. The rice taste better and fish and chips too. The big glass drink for Fish & Co. is a good idea too. Its encourage for you to share the big glass for two persons.

What I do not Like:
My opinion the Fish & Co. is lack of staffs. On my visit, I saw about three persons handling the floor like a headless chicken running around to take order, clean the table, and attend to customer. Maybe need to improve on this.

Padi House - Cyberjaya

Open air concept cafe, sometimes can be a bit hot for other. Especially on a crowd lunch time. Wifey and I went to Padi's House for luncheon session today. Arrived at the restaurant at 2pM, weekends at Cyberjaya will be heaven. It will be a totally opposite condition when on weekdays. Since there also few other cafe location side by sides, you will be able to order food or drinks from others cafe and sit at different cafe.

You will have the option to choose chinese stir fried food or western. All menu has been localize to suit local taste. Most of the menu come on big portion. Price wise, standard for local cafe. Old Town kopitiam outlet located next to Padi's House. You could order the famous white coffee from the kopitian next door.

Cantonese style hor fun was delicious. From my observation, the hor fun or "kuey teow" was fried with ketchup before served with the porridge style soup. Seafood fried rice was just like other ordinary fried rice. Picture in the menu, does shows the plenty of shrimps and calamari. But the one served to me, a bit less. hehehe...

Lets see the place!

Gobo Upstairs Lounge & Grills, Traders Hotel - Kuala Lumpur

Its wifey birthday! A romantic dinner would be great for her. Google around for best restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Found tripadvisor.com lists. Tripadvisor.com has been my favourite "advisor" for hotel and destination guides. Now would like to try for restaurant. Listed "Gobo Upstairs Lounge & Grill" at #3 (as for December 2010). Initially wanted to dine on 25th, however on 24th & 25th December, Gobo offer 4 courses menu that would cost Rm 188++ per person. When I called for reservation on 13th Dec, they are fully booked.

I have no choice to move a day a bit later. So here we are, on 26th December at Gobo Upstairs. Called twice and spoke with "Azhar". Very helpful staff to setup and make this arrangement.

The stylish elegance at Gobo Upstairs Lounge & Grill is ideal for intimate dinners and special celebrations. Framed by views of the spectacular Petronas Twin Towers, guests can savor cuisine uniquely prepared by Jr Sous Chef, Melvin Brandon Chong. In addition to serving the best steak in town, Gobo Upstairs offers an imaginative cocktail list and an expansive wine selection.
