Calling all Asam Pedas fans, its time to taste this original Asam Pedas from Malacca! This was not our first visit to this restaurant. We first went to this restaurant on 2009 and make visit around every 6 months eventually. Frequent visit to this restaurant made us realize that the owner had gradually increase the food price to sky high!
Its was damn cheap before. We did notice since the owner had secure a deal with travel agencies to bring in tourist to flood the restaurant, the price goes rocket! Frankly, this will be our last visit to this restaurant.
Food taste great especially the asam pedas! Avoid lunch hours since will be difficult to get a table. Before we had fried crab that only cost Rm10. Now no more. Plenty of choices to choose from. A bit disappointed since the fried chicken was not ready yet though we arrived at 1 pM.
Green curry crab was too spicy for me up to the extend made my lips numb. Mango salad taste great. Later when in Malacca, we will visit Hajjah Mona Asam Pedas at Taman Laksamana, Malacca for a comparison!
