Its been a long time Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has dominated the fried chicken fast food industry. Now its the time for KFC to seriously take Popeyes as competitor. Thought several other competitors make no harm to KFC before, the recent declining quality and taste by KFC should be handle wisely.

Began in 1972 known as Chicken on the Run, later renamed as Popeyes and start expanding their business in Louisiana, USA. Personally Popeyes stands as a good alternative for consumers other than KFC (as Malaysian been natured). Offer options "mild" and "spicy" flavours for chickens you to choose.

From my point of view spicy version just about similar with KFC spicy version with a better taste. While for mild flavour just a less spicy version than the spicy flavours with added a slight taste of herbs. What made me like Popeyes, its obvious that Popeyes' chicken does processed a better way than KFC. No "unwanted" organs leftover behind the ribs of the chicken as I usually encounter at KFC.

Interesting is Popeyes fried chicken comes with so called "biscuits". Its not my favourite I could say but it might interest some of you other there. So what are you waiting for? Just give it a try! You might falls for it!

But my tongue will still crave for KFC original flavour. heehehe..

Happened to be running some errants near to Subang Parade. We saw this big banner advertisement by Chill Out Bistro near Subang Parade's parking lots. We were lost when finding the entrance of Chill Out Bistro, looking for any accessible path without need to go out of Subang Parade main building. When we found our way, we found out that Chill Out was closed thought the advert promote an offer about lunch set!

Later we settled for this Uncle Lim's kopitiam. Its my first visit to Uncle Lim's with "hometown taste" tagline. Among the signature dishes at Uncle Lim's are the nasi lemak and also the laksa. So we decided to try them both. My all time favourite laksa is at the Jusco's Midvalley foodcourt. But once I tried Uncle Lim's laksa I believe that I will be coming back for this laksa!

Thick, creamy and aromatic gravvy exactly as it describes in the website! Amazingly it do not use the so called "laksa" or lai fun (slippery laksa as I noted it! =p). Instead Uncle Lim's uses the spaghetti as the Johor Laksa serves.

The nasi lemak chicken also serves with sambal sotong (only small size), What I can say is this nasi lemak was not as good as Papparich(thumbs up!). Yet not the worse.
